Accessing Gite Le Lauvitel near Les Deux Alpes skiing France

Access

La Danchère is just above a secret back-route which leads (almost) to Les 2 Alpes. After Bourg d’Oisans, leave the RN 91 at Le Clapier on the D531. Immediately after Les Ougiers, turn right and cross the Venéon river before climbing to La Danchère. We are 8 minutes from Venosc where there is a télécabine up to Les 2 Alpes. This route avoids the worst of the traffic-jams between Lac de Chambon and Bourg d’Oisans.

There is a bus service from Grenoble station to many destinations in Oisans, including the La Bérade valley, with a stop on line 3040 just below La Danchère at Les Ougiers.
